I am all about local shops and unique items so when I found Jungle Tribe on ETSY I was instantly obsessed. It was like nothing I had ever seen. I ordered my must have item (The Shark Bite Holster and Hip Bag) to put to the test immediately knowing there were a couple of obstacles. A) I am 4’8 -Jokes not necessary- and just how adjustable these are was about to be majorly put to the test. B) How easy these were to put on and get through the day with because the look incredibly complicated. All of my questions were put to bed the second it arrived.

I was in complete shock putting it on because, as someone who ALWAYS has to battle with lenghth and fit being way beyond petite, it was perfectly adjustable and fit like a glove. I first saw this on Mykie from Glam and Gore who is still petite but much taller than I am and models on their site who are likely taller than BOTH of us and on each girl it was a perfect fit. These are obviouly very meticulously hand crafted to beĀ  so beautilly fit and wearable on so many body types. For that alone, it was the greatest order ever in the end. Now came the second test….How wearable was this thing actually?

I was totally hooked but with all the clips and straps I was wondering if this thing would be a complete pain in the ass to get on and take off throughout the day. Admittedly it can be worn as a cross body bag, backpack or with the belt and thigh straps attached to be worn around the waist but I wanted to test it the way it was worn in pictures. I mean…that’s the badassery I bought it for, right? I am pleased to say it was a breeze and not difficult at all. It slipped up and down easy when i needed it to and stayed put all day. It does feel like its sagging a little but once it settles it didn’t move. Just connect the straps in the back first, pull to the front, clip them in place and once you adjust the bucle to the appropriate width you need you are good for the day. Add that to the fact that there are TON’S of ways to wear this and its pretty much the only bag you’ll ever need. I will say that it is fairly small so its perfect for me because I don’t keep my life in my purse but, if you do, this is still the PERFECT bag for a concert or club situation becuse it’s stylish as hell but also leaves you the option of being hands free to enjoy the night and has enough room for the essentials.

The pricetag is incredibly heavy ($319) but I have seen bags that are half as cool and MUCH less versatile for, literally, four times as much. These are so well made and local that I have much less a hard time with this company because I would rather save up and continue purchasing and supporting these amazing artisans than some nameless faceless corporation that sells cookie cutter basic bitch items. Not that I dont love some of that too but If I can support a local business or artisan I will.
